Inspired by the exciting and always evolving pizza scene in NYC, Station 49 crafts unique pizzas with fresh ingredients.

We're NY authentic too.  Chef Dino is a new Vero Beach resident after running a restaurant in NYC for 21 years.  Dino's background is in fine dining but he's always had a soft spot for pizza and casual restaurants....it just felt right to come down to Florida and give it a shot.

The menu at Station 49 goes beyond great pizza too.  Italian streetfood bites like arancini (approved by authentic Italians!), fresh house made pastas, salads that are somehow delicious and healthy, entrees that Dino has perfected over the years in NYC and fresh house made desserts that you won't want to miss.  There's also a large selection of craft and big name beers and a great selection of wine.

We look forward to welcoming you to Station 49 soon.  Don't forget to say 'Hey' to Chef Dino - you'll see him in our open kitchen.

About

Founded in 2017, Station 49 is the newest concept for restaurateur Jay McLaughlin.  When Jay's longtime Executive Chef at Island Restaurant in New York was looking to escape to the beach, Jay jumped at the opportunity to work with him on a new concept in Vero Beach.  Station 49 is focused on leveraging it's custom made wood burning oven to deliver Neapolitan style pizza made from the finest ingredients as well as small appetizer plates, salads and Dino's famous burgers, salmon and chicken which have been mainstays at Island for over a decade.

The atmosphere at Station 49 is casual yet upscale.  Jay has been dreaming of a pizza restaurant that he and his wife Joan would enjoy in Vero Beach for years and has been obsessively dining at all the best pizza restaurants in New York for inspiration.  He took a unique approach to developing the atmosphere which is his interpretation of a Florida beach pizza place.  Both cheerful and industrial cool, Station 49 strikes a great balance.

Jay and Joan McLaughlin also own and operate Citron Bistro at the Village Shops of Vero Beach.
